New Alberta PNP Changes in Alberta Express Entry Stream:
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) announced the new changes in the Alberta Express Entry Stream on January 18, 2023.
The Alberta Express Entry Stream will give the nomination more to those candidates who have jobs in high-demanded occupations and who have parents, relatives, children, or siblings who are permanent residents or Canadian Citizens living in Alberta.
The new change in Alberta Express Entry Stream helps the new immigrants coming to Alberta who have the intent to live and settle in this province. They get benefits from this change.
In 2022, IRCC issued 6,500 invitations to eligible candidates in Alberta PNP. Basically, IRCC sets the allocation for the Alberta PNP nomination every year. The nominee allocations are set on the based demanding occupations in Alberta.
Moreover, a portion of Alberta PNP is used by the Alberta Express Entry Stream which includes the Accelerated Tech Pathway. In 2023, IRCC plan to use the Alberta Express Entry Stream Draws in high-demanding occupations.
Family ties will be considered a part of the selection in the federal express entry draws. The candidates who meet these requirements have a high chance to get the invitation and apply for permanent residency in Canada.
